Im Josh.

About Me

Hello! I'm Josh. I am currently a First Year Student at the University of Northampton. I am enrolled on BSc Web Development & Cyber Security. Throughout my studies, I have fortified robust foundational skills in Computer Systems ranging from IEEE 754 Binary Standards to learning Database Design & Development where I have learnt Structured Query Language (SQL). In particular have a strong passion and focus in Cyber Security and Website Development and I am looking forward to honing and developing my skillset ready for industry work.

Additionally, I'm keen on forging connections and exploring potential summer work opportunities, whether through internships or one-week industry placements.

Hobbies

Beyond academics, I have a strong passion for photography, particularly the focus of portraiture. It does not just allow me to capture a moment, but it allows me to think creatively as it consistently pushes me to explore different creative methods which I can translate to Cyber Security.

In addition to photography, I enjoy exercising and I regularly attend the gym. It allows me to escape academics and momentarily disconnect allowing me to recharge and come back even more focused and ready as I can maintain a healthy balance between academics and mind. Moreover, at the gym, I am currently training for a Race For Life 5k event where I am able to help the fight against cancer by raising money for cancer research.
